Praia do Guincho is a beach in the parish of Alcabideche, in the municipality of Cascais, in Portugal, about 8 km from the county seat.
On the western Atlantic coast, it is very windy and offers good conditions for surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing.
It is one of the windiest beaches in Portugal, and one of the most sought after by surf, windsurf, kite surf and wind kite surfers. In the 90s, Guincho was one of the venues for the Windsurfing World Cup. Nowadays, several sporting events take place in Guincho on a regular basis, including the National Surf and Bodyboard Championship. During the summer, the predominant wind direction is from the north (North).
