The Silves Cathedral, also known as the Sé Catedral de Silves, is a historic cathedral located in the city of Silves, Portugal.

It was built in the 13th century on the site of an ancient mosque, and is one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in the Algarve region.

The cathedral features a beautiful façade, with two towers and an arched entranceway. Inside, visitors can admire the grand nave, which is decorated with ornate carvings and stained glass windows. The cathedral also features a number of chapels and a sacristy.

The cathedral has a rich history, having been used as a mosque during the Moorish period and later converted into a cathedral during the Christian reconquest.

Today, the Silves Cathedral is a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world to admire its beauty and learn about its rich history. It is a must-see destination for anyone interested in history, architecture, or religious heritage.
